The School Growth Team

Scott Barron

Chief Reinvention Officer/Founder

After serving as a leader in education for 21 years, I founded School Growth to grow schools and the people who have the courage to lead them. Educators have the profound ability to transform lives, and my life has certainly been enhanced by devoted parents, teachers, and coaches. As a man of intelligent faith, I love creating and sharing books, messages, presentations, podcasts, and other content that encourages educators to persevere in their calling. I have been a school head, served on school boards, and delivered inspiring messages to thousands of educators and other audiences around the world. My role at School Growth is to provide strategic direction, business development, content creation, and executive coaching.

Tammy Barron

President

I joined Scott in leading School Growth after working for 25 years as a teacher, enrollment director, and administrator. My education started at Georgia Tech in Chemical Engineering, but I eventually decided to refocus my career on mastering the art of teaching and leading schools. I love working with educators and especially admissions directors at many different schools, but I also prioritize time with my children and many grandchildren. As the President of School Growth, I am blessed to oversee the implementation of our strategic plan and the development of the whole team. We actually "practice what we preach" regarding the leadership disciplines that produce excellence and maximize growth.

Alan Pue, EdD

Senior Consultant

I have spent a lifetime in Christian schooling as a student, teacher, coach, head of school, pastor, and for five years as Provost of The Master’s College (now University) in California. As President of The Barnabas Group, Inc., I've provided strategic/scenario planning, leadership development, and governance training assistance to faith-based organizations. I am also the author of Rethinking Sustainability and Rethinking Strategic Planning. I am thrilled to bring my experience and passion for education to the School Growth Network of Christian schools.

Grace Lee

Client Experience Director

As School Growth’s most tenured team member, I have extensive experience in guiding clients through the implementation of data-driven strategies and delivering quality improvement initiatives. I am the coordinator of our proprietary process for rapid planning and professional development, and am always finding new ways to integrate data and leverage technology to maximize the return-on-investment by crafting an experience for each client and keeping everyone focused and accountable in order to implement strategies in a way that is less stressful and highly productive. With experience as an entrepreneur and educator, I bring a unique perspective to School Growth. When not working, I am cheering on my son, Josh, in his athletic endeavors!

Dr. Amy Swann

Senior Consultant

My whole career has been invested in improving failing schools, with leadership stints in Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, Indiana, and other states and districts. I have the unusual distinction of having guided multiple schools out of the bottom ranking in their respective state, and most have sustained that positive momentum. That is a rare feat. Performance assessments, project based instructional design, and personalized learning are core to my expertise, having published articles in national and international journals and web sites. My role at School Growth is to expand this powerful platform of influence to reach an even broader range of educators and institutions.

Rachel Mozingo

VP, Operations & Marketing

I joined School Growth in 2021 to help support the mission of encouraging educators and enriching the culture of their schools. I believe educators have an immensely important role in children’s lives, and the impact of a joyful, motivated educator can have ripple effects for decades to come. Bringing my experience to School Growth as an entrepreneur, marketing leader and strategist, as well as a seasoned operations and team management professional, I am able to support schools in their goals to elevate their brands, enroll their ideal students, recruit culturally aligned employees, and ultimately grow authentically. Aside from my work at School Growth, I am a wife and mother of three young children. We enjoy serving with our church, traveling, and making fun memories together.

Kelly White

Marketing Manager

A year after volunteering in marketing at my daughters’ school, I found myself on staff in a full-time position. The experience was vastly different from my corporate marketing background bringing a level of professional fulfillment I hadn’t realized I was missing. Over a decade later, I’m blessed to be helping schools across the School Growth Network craft their unique and compelling stories, elevate their marketing efforts, and introduce new initiatives to meet their enrollment goals. When I’m not working, I love being outdoors, visiting the ocean, and spending time with my family. My husband David and I have two beautiful daughters, a goofy golden retriever, and a menagerie of cats.

Lynn Wilson

Project Manager

I joined School Growth in 2022 because I wanted to support independent schools in their mission and educators in their calling.  Being able to utilize my project management and analytical skills to provide tools and analysis that encourages schools to grow and improve is truly an honor.  My husband and I are embracing life as empty-nesters with our son and daughter in college and loving the opportunity to travel and explore more.
