We are trying something a little different this week! We have received so many questions from schools regarding how to set goals, and with the request for their board members to be a part of that dialogue, we wanted to offer a different way to engage in conversation around how to set goals for board members that provides meaning and growth.
To that end, I will be hosting our very first School Growth Conversation on Board Goals. This is intended to be a time frame for more board members to participate since it is after hours for most of the US and international participants will have the opportunity to join as well. The live interactive webinar will take place tomorrow evening at 7:30 PM ET.
Because we work with charter, independent, public and private schools, our organization is uniquely suited for the spreading of ideas across networks that often don't intermingle. I believe this cross-pollination of strategies and ideas is a key element for success in today's educonomy, so I strongly encourage you to participate in this time of discussion with other school boards around the country and even around the world. A top performing school requires a top performing board, so this is a real opportunity to engage in growth for your school.
